I have recently started working with Surrey Hills Engineering. As an architectural designer, I have been satisfied with previous structural engineers I have referred clients to, but would now recommend you above them because you are very reliable and provide an excellent customer service. I have also found you to be very conscientious of the overall design when calculating the structural elements. Often you will call to discuss the plans with me to make sure that you have designed the best solution for the scheme not necessarily the easiest or most obvious. This means my clients can get exactly they are after and I'm also learning new things along the way. I have had a couple of projects that needed turning around very quickly and on both occasions you have been able to issue structural calculations and details at short notice to a very high standard. Surrey Hills engineering does not shy away from complicated projects either. I recently had a challenging foundation design that no one wanted to touch, but your company had no qualms about taking this on, I know you have a strong team behind you and between you and between everyone can always provide an effective solution. I would like to thank you & your company for your help and speady structural calculations ready for the very next day. I can't thank you enough for helping me Re-design the calculations for a refub job of mine which the previous engineer designed not fit for the site.
I have contacted Surrey Hills straight away and within 24 hrs I had the new calculations emailed to me which I could then forward to building control and get the steel order so it never held up the plasterers.
